Photos and choices

This is my first picture i took. This shows the pictures of past new york trips displayed on the Media corridors, it shows how enthusiastic the college it is as they are presenting it around the college. The students also look really enthusiastic and look like they are enjoying the trip. I think i am going to do an article on the yearly New York trip and denotate this with these pictures. I could also use Puff in this article to promote the yearly New York trip to fellow and upcoming students.

This is Oak, one of the main parts of the college where everyone socialises where the canteen, library and lockers are. The main entrance is located in this building aswell. This also shows the new layout of the building, i could add an article to my magazine about how much it costs and the newly created college facilities and how they have new excellent sport facilities and the landscaped area which provides an extensive external social space.

This is the entrance to the canteen. It also shows a student walking past the canteen dressed casually with a folder in his hand, this is a standardised stereotype of the typical college student. We can also see the map of Wyke College on the wall and the cash machine which was added to the college by the student committe- i could comment on this by doing an article on how the student committee affects the college for the wellbeing of the students.

This is a photo of a student whos studies at Wyke College. I don't think i will choose this as my main image for the front cover of the magazine but i could use this picture in the layout of some of the articles, for example socialising.

This is another student at Wyke College. He is a second year at wyke which would help appeal the magazine to both target audiences of the amgazine. He is wearing a sports hoodie which denotates that he is proud of been at the college.

This is one of the students at wyke college. I could use this as the background of the front of the magazine, she also looks happy and enthusiastic about been in the college.

This is the main entrance to wyke. The colouring of the photo looks slightly dull so i could edit it to make it look brighter and more effective.

This is the teams notice board which is presented in the hallway of the sports department. I could add this to the sports and achievements article.

This is a photo of the sport trophies and medals which are located as you walk into the front entrance. It shows how proud the college are of their success of their students especially as it clearly located at the front of the college and people can see it as soon as they walk in. I think i would but this inn the sports article and make this the main image of the article below the headline of the article. I could add intertextuality to the article to compare the students to popular footballers, this could add popularity to the magazine and people would read on, this would also connect to the target audience as they would be college students.

This photo is of a student at Wyke College who is focused on her Photography work and looks like she is enjoying it, The photo also shows the equipment on offer in the Media & Photography courses.

This is a photo of the main socialising site of the college where everyone socialises in the Summer and sits on the grass. I could add this photo to the layout of the page in the article about socialising in and around the college. i could also add this to the article about the new site of the college as this clearly connotates the open pan space of the college.
